Christmas is a time of year where family gets together to hang out, be thankful for each other, and exchange gifts.  It is a time of year where people rejoice and forget their issues and problems.  People attend large family dinners with lots of dishes made by lots of different people.  They enjoy the company and conversation of people they may not have seen all year.  This is also the time of year when people who have an annual holiday cards generally take it.  A lot of the time, people take their holiday photo cards very seriously and make it a somewhat sordid affair.  The parents yell up the banister to the children to get downstairs for their annual photo.  They tell them to put on a nice shirt, belt, dress pants, and dress shoes for the boys and a dress, or a nice blouse with nice pants for the girls.  Most children absolutely hate dressing nicely, and they would much rather wear shorts, t-shirt and sneakers everyday of their lives,  although this is certainly impossible.  However, if you and your family would like to stray slightly away from the pack this year, you might decide to have a theme for your holiday photo cards.  There are many themes for you to choose from, but you might decide to have an ugly sweater themed holiday card.  In this type of card, you could have everyone wear their absolutely most revolting Christmas in which to take the photo.  It would be very funny.
